"Where do I pick up my 3-Day Pass or 6-Pack?"
Your 3-Day Pass or 6-Pack will be held under your last name at WILL CALL at Festival Hospitality at the Sheridan Opera House (located across from the courthouse on Telluride's main street).  Please bring a Photo I.D. when picking up your order.  Festival Hospitality opens at 11AM on Friday, October 11th and you can pick up your order, along with the printed festival program, any time after that.  Festival Hospitality will remain open until the last film on Friday night starts and will reopen before the first film on Saturday morning.

"How does my 3-Day Pass work?"
Your 3-Day Pass allows entry into all theaters and special events.*  Please note, however, that if one theater reaches capacity during any particular program we will send you to another theater.  If there is a particular program that you really want to see, we highly recommend getting in line at the theater in advance to avoid being turned away to another theater due to a sold-out show.  We ask that all 3-Day Passholders arrive no later than 10 minutes before showtimes.  If there are empty seats at the start of a program, we will assume that they are available to release to the general public.  All in all, it's as simple of a system as we can keep it and our staff & volunteers will be here to help you have a great weekend. *The majority of special events are open to all 3-Day Passholders. The only exceptions are limited capacity events such as Horror Trivia Night. For limited capacity events, we offer passholders advance sign-up onsite.

"How does my 6-Pack work?"
If you purchased a 6-Pack, you'll receive six individual tickets at WILL CALL. These tickets allow you to stand in line at the theaters with passholders. 6-Pack tickets are transferable (i.e. one person can see six films or two people can see three films, and so on).  6-Pack tickets allow entry into all theaters. Please note, however, that if one theater reaches capacity during any particular program we will send you to another theater.  If there is a particular program that you really want to see, we highly recommend getting in line at the theater in advance to avoid being turned away to another theater due to a sold-out show. We ask that all 6-Pack ticket holders arrive no later than 10 minutes before showtimes.  If there are empty seats at the start of a program, we will assume that they are available to release to the general public.  All in all, it's as simple of a system as we can keep it and our staff & volunteers will be here to help you have a great weekend. 6-Pack tickets allow entry into films only, not special events.

"Where does the festival take place?"
The festival is held at the Nugget Theatre, Palm Theatre, and historic Sheridan Opera House.  All venues are in the town of Telluride, within walking distance of each other (it's a small town). For more info on the venues, click here.  Special events are held at various locations throughout Telluride (again, all within walking distance).

"What films are playing and when?"
We typically begin announcing films in late summer/early fall.  The schedule will be announced a week or two before the festival.  Films typically begin early afternoon on Friday and run through Sunday night.

"What if I don't have a 3-Day Pass or a 6-Pack? Can I still see some films?"
If you don't have a 3-Day Pass or a 6-Pack, we sell individual tickets for $15 at the door, after pass and ticket holders have been seated, and if there's empty seats available.  Historically speaking, a small number of seats are available to the general public during daytime shows, late-night shows, as well as on Sunday.

"Do you have to be 18 to attend?"
We've never had a hard-and-fast rule on age restriction.  As a horror film festival, the majority of films would be considered "R" rated, some with extreme content, some with sexual content.  However, we've had plenty of younger teenagers attend the festival with their parents (and we're happy to see they're on their way to becoming life-long horror fans).  We leave it up to your discretion and we're always on hand to help guide attendees to the films that might not be as extreme as others.
